Susan Zimmer, 65, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Thursday December 22, 2016 at Aurora Medical Center.
Susan was born on December 2, 1951 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Rocco & Susan (Sarluca) Mattio. She was educated in the school of Twin Lakes. Susan married Charles Marshall in 1971, they later divorced. She then married Frank "Jake" Zimmer on August 1, 1998 in Kenosha. She was employed various places throughout the years, but was most recently a homemaker. Her hobbies included quilting, cooking, playing golf, and she enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Sadie & Leo.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Zimmer of Pleasant Prairie; children, Brian Y. Marshall and Katrina M. Marshall both of Kenosha, and a step daughter Trina M. Zimmer of Kenosha. Susan was preceded in death her parents, and dog, Schultz.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday January 5, 2017 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Susan M. Zimmer Memorial Fund at BMO-Harris Bank Pershing Blvd, location in Kenosha.
