Sylvia M.
Evans
March 2, 1962 – July 11, 2021
Sylvia M. Evans
1962-2021
Sylvia Evans, 59, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday July 11, 2021 at Ascension All Saints-Racine.
Sylvia was born on March 2, 1962 in Chicago, the daughter of James & Betty (Clark) Parker. She was educated in the schools of Chicago. Sylvia was employed as a CNA for many years.
Sylvia was a loving kind woman who loved Jehovah. She loved and enjoyed listening to music, it was her first love, and she found solitude from all genres of music. One of her favorite musical artist was Prince, she was crazy about him. She enjoyed spending time and talking with her very best friend Buster who made her laugh. Sylvia had the most contagious laugh that you could literally hear it miles away. She was very in tune with nature and house plants, and could literally bring a dying plant to life. Overall she was a kindred spirit who we all know will be looking down on us all.
Sylvia Evans was preceded in death by her grandmother Lavad Edna Steel and her father James Parker. Her brother Troy Parker and her uncle Tyrone Brooks along with her deceased husband DeWayne Evans. She leaves to cherish her memory: her nurturing mother, Betty Parker; her husband Charles Grace; five children (Monique, Ernest, Porsha, LaTroya Rinvil and Jamie Evans) her brother Curtis Parker, niece Tiffany Vance and many other nieces and nephews. Three grandchildren Jaden Rinvil, Damien Allen Jr. and Adelina Bennett.
A visitation will be held on Friday July 23, 2021 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 3:00PM-4:00PM, with funeral services to follow at 4:00PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
