Warren Paulsen

1954-2025

Warren Paulsen, 71, of Zion, IL passed away on September 30, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha.

Warren was born on February 9, 1954, in Waukegan, IL, the son of the late Grant and Verna (Bennecke) Paulsen. He was educated in the schools of Gurnee, IL. Warren worked for Abbott Laboratories in the diagnostics department for 25 years and before Abbott he worked for OMC/Johnson Motors. His hobbies included going to car shows, fishing, going on casino trips, cheering for the Chicago Bears, Cubs and Bulls but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his brother, Clifford (Maria Gonzalez) Paulsen of Lake Villa, IL. Warren was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
