Paulene "Darlene" Sandra Nietupski, 71, went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 27, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Darlene was born on January 8, 1944 in Utah, the daughter of the late Richard L. & Elizabeth C. (Babel) Wagner. Although she liked having 3 names, Paulene liked to be called "Darlene". She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She had owned several businesses, but Darlene was most proud of owning Tomorrow's Woman Bridal & Fashion Boutique for many years. Darlene had a great time on family vacations. She traveled to many destinations and went on several Cruises. Darlene Ballroom danced for years. Her hobbies included a love for horses & spending time with her son Travis and his fiancé Sue taking care of the family horses Fancy & Skyler, gardening with her daughter Sherry, cheering on the Packers, going to Country Thunder every summer with her country sister, Karen Gascoigne and family. Most of all, Darlene loved spending time with her family & friends, especially her 4 grandchildren, large cats Toby & Rigley & little granddaughter dog Scarlett.
Survivors include her children, Travis (Sue Tirabassi) Nietupski, Sherry (Dean) Scherer both of Kenosha; sisters, Elizabeth Nichols of CO, Bonnita (Rev. Grady) Nichols of Kenosha, Rochelle "Midge" (Don) Oliver of Kenosha, , Janie (Gary) Heinz of Kenosha; and 4 grandchildren, Corey Nietupski of AL, Jamie Lee' Nietupski, Matthew & Nicholas Scherer of Kenosha and several other cousins, nieces and nephews. Darlene was proceeded in death by her brother-in-law, Hollis Nichols of CO.
A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park Chapel "The Garden of Peace" on Friday October 9, 2015. 10:30 - 11:30 visitation, Service at 11:30. Luncheon to follow at Lake Andrea Beach Pavilion Hall, 9900 Terwall Terrace Pleasant Prairie, WI. 53158. 1:00 - 4:00, Beach Pavilion Hall is west of the Rex Plex.
