Anita Engelhart
1953-2022

Anita Engelhart, 68, of Waukegan passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at her home.

Anita was born on February 26, 1953 in Waukegan, the daughter of the late Paul & Stella (Jonaitis) Wiess.  She was educated in the schools of Waukegan.  Anita was a self-employed artist.  Her hobbies included painting, loved nature, but most of all spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Survivors include her daughters, Jacqueline Diehn of Waukegan, Christina Keough of Winthrop Harbor; sisters, Ruth Rishling of IL, Mary Ann Mitzel of WA; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5:00-7:00PM, with memorial services to follow at 7:00PM.

Due to COVID, facemasks are required in the funeral home.
