Carol Ann Freeman

1937-2022

Carol Ann (Hughes) Freeman, 85, of Kenosha passed away unexpectedly at Froedtert South Saint Catherine's on March 4, 2022.

Carol was born on February 28, 1937, in Kenosha the daughter of the late Robert and Ella (Petersen) Hughes.  She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. In 1955 Carol married William Freeman, they were married for 66 years before his death on April 20, 2021.  Carol and her husband enjoyed 40 years on their property in Eagle River Wisconsin boating, fishing, walking around Dollar Lake, and watching the deer come through the yard to feed in the evenings. Along with being a golf enthusiast and a serious Packers fan, Carol enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her children Diane (Richard) King, Gary (Mary) Freeman, Richard (Connie) Freeman, Sandra Freeman, and Mark (Christy) Freeman all of Kenosha; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, two sisters Shirley Gosselin and Lois Hughes.  She was preceded in death by her husband William, parents Robert and Ella, and three brothers Lawrence, Robert and James.

A visitation will be held on Thursday March 10, 2022 at St. Therese Catholic Church,  2020 91st St, Kenosha, WI, from 9:00AM-11:00AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM.  Private burial will be at St. James Cemetery.
