Carole L. Brandt

1943-2024

Carole Brandt, 80, of Kenosha passed away on October 7, 2024, at Hospice Alliance surrounded by her loving family.

Carole was born on October 22, 1943, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Lejman) Brandt. She was educated in the schools of Chicago and got a degree from Gateway Technical College. Carole married Joseph Marchese which later divorced. Carole then married Anthony Gritz Sr. on September 8, 1976, in Chicago which later divorced. She was a secretary for many years. Her hobbies included going to garage sales, thrift store shopping, going to casinos, cheering for the Chicago Cubs, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Joseph Marchese Jr. of MI, Roger (Tracy) Marchese of FL, Anthony Gritz Jr. of NV, Natalie Molinaro of FL; brother, Raymond Brandt of WI; sisters, Darlene Podgorski of FL, Irma Brandt-Ausmann of WI; ex-husband, Joseph Marchese; also included are her 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Carole was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michele and her ex-husband, Anthony Gritz Sr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
