Clyde "Dillard" Free

1946-2022

Dillard Free, 75, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday April 21, 2022 at Grande Prairie in Pleasant Prairie.

Dillard was born on August 31, 1946 in Arkansas.  He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.  Dillard was a member of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.  He was a self employed musician for many years.  His hobbies included fishing, cheering for the Packers, and spending time with his family & friends.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Free of Kenosha; children, Mike (Janine) McCrary, Cindy McCrary, Billy Gray; sister, Virginia (Robert) Clark of MS; 2 grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Dillard was preceded in death by his brothers, Martin, Lelion, Jesse, Doyle, and Alton; sisters, Mary & Elsie.

Military Honors services will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1:00PM.
