Cupid Lakes, 60, of Kenosha passed away on May 2, 2022, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie surrounded by her loving family.

Cupid was born on August 27, 1961, in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of the late Kurtis Greathouse and Rebecca Buchanan. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Her hobbies included music, dancing, being a jokester, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Tia (John) Williams of Kenosha, Waymond (Cristian) Parker of IN; brothers, Johnny Lee Buchanan Jr. of Kenosha, Robert Charles Buchanan of Kenosha; sisters, Dezzie Lee Coleman of Waukegan, IL, Sharon (Dennis) Noel of IN; also included are her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Cupid was preceded in death by her parents, Kurtis Greathouse and Rebecca Buchanan; significant other, Willie Coleman; brother, Waymond D. Buchanan; sister, Dorothy Parker; aunts, Mary L. Parker, Neomia Varnell, cousin, Linda Varnell and her granddaughter, Cupid N. Parker.

A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Saturday May 14, 2022, from 11:00AM-12:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 12:00PM.
