Darlene M. Russo

1940-2023

Darlene Russo, 83, of Kenosha passed away on October 25, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha surrounded by her loving family.

Darlene was born on April 2, 1940, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Julius and Ada (Antrim) Dase. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School. Darlene married Eugene Paul Russo on September 14, 1956, in Kenosha. She worked at Froedtert South St. Catherines Hospital as a licensed Practical Nurse for 38 years. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, reading, watching Hallmark shows & game shows, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Debra Russo of Kenosha, Michael Russo of Kenosha; brothers, Herbert (Jan) Dase of WA, William (Fran) Dase of Kenosha; son-in-law, Jeff Bowen of IL; sister-in-law, Karen Russo; special family friends, Nicole Hassler & Ahrash Aazami; grandchildren, Alexandra (Dustin), Ian, India, MichealAnne (Kat), Anthony, Jared; also included are 4 great-grandchildren. Darlene is also survived by many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Judy, and her daughter, Michelle Bowen.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
