Doris A. Martin

1944-2023

Doris Martin, 78, of Kenosha passed away on February 27, 2023, at Elder Care Cottages of WI surrounded by her loving family.

Doris was born on August 4, 1944, in Racine, the daughter of Benjamin and Audrey (Amundson) Koke. She was educated in the schools of Racine. Doris married Robert Martin on July 10, 1963, in Kenosha. Doris worked as a trainer teacher for Northpoint Achievement Center in Waukegan, IL for many years. Her hobbies included fishing, bowling, bow hunting, sewing, crafts, cooking but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Martin of Kenosha; daughter, Vickie Hunt of Kenosha; brothers, Bob Koke, Marty (Valeri) Amundson, Louis (Maritza) Amundson; sister, Dorothy Trieber; also included is her grandson, Joshua Hunt and 5 great-grandchildren, Katalina, Noah, Mia, Gunner & Kolson. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John & Ray; granddaughter, Katrina and her grandson, Koda.
