1928-2018
Evelyn Martin, 89, of Kenosha passed away on Friday June 1, 2018 at Kenosha Senior Living surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn was born on August 21, 1928 in Walworth Co, WI, the daughter of the late Frank & Elsie (Schneider) Wienke. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha Co. Evelyn married T. George Martin Jr. on May 5, 1948 in Kenosha. Evelyn was employed as a teacher's Assistant for KUSD for many years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Her hobbies included playing bridge and most of all spending time with her family & friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Scott) Martin-Lebeter and Laurie (Carl) Mueller both of Kenosha; brothers, Robert Wienke of Fon du Lac; sister, Helen Elston of Slinger; 3 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband.
A memorial gathering will be held on June 22, 2018 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5-6:00 PM, with memorial services to follow at 6:00 PM.
