Gabriel Angel Cotto Sr

1963-2022

Gabriel Angel Cotto Sr. 59, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on October 12, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Gabriel was born on October 6, 1963, in East Chicago, IN, the son of the late Victor and Trinidad (Pena) Cotto. He was educated in the schools of IN. Gabriel married Nidia Arroyo on January 12, 2000, in Kenosha. He received his Doctorate in 2018 from UWM. He was employed at Froedtert Hospitals of Kenosha. Gabriel also taught Nursing students at Gateway Technical College for some years. His hobbies included teaching, barbecuing, telling funny jokes but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Nidia Cotto of Pleasant Prairie; children, Gabriel Angel Cotto Jr., Brianna Gabrielle Cotto & Mateo Angel Cotto of Pleasant Prairie; Felix (Victoria) Martinez of Indiana. Brothers; Carlos (Tasin) Amaro, Eladio Monseratte, Luis (Daphne) Cotto, Jose (Kathy) Cotto; sister, Maria (Chris) Solomon; Cruz Cambell also included are his 3 grandchildren, among a host of nieces and nephews. Gabriel was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sally and brothers Victor, Papin, and Joseph.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday October 21, 2022, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4:00PM-7:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 7:00PM.
