Geraldine "Jeri" L. Young

1953-2025

Jeri, age 72, passed away on November 4th, 2025, at hospice alliance.

Born in Minnesota on August 23rd, 1953, she was one of eight children of Arnold and Angie Scriver. Jeri moved to Kenosha with her family and graduated from Bradford High and Gateway with an RN degree. She worked in obstetrics for 40 years starting at the old St Catherine's and finishing at the new St Catherine's. She welcomed into the world and cared for countless newborns during her career. Along the way she was blessed to welcome into this world a very special newborn - her son Alex.

Jeri liked to spend time with family and friends, and for several years did an annual trip to Las Vegas with a group of friends.

Jeri enjoyed gardening and was excited to see her flowers bloom every year. She was also a very talented person who knitted, crocheted, and made beautiful quilts.

On August 21st, 1982, Jeri married Greg and they enjoyed 43 years of marriage together. She is survived by her husband Greg, her son Alex, her grandson Adrian and her siblings Kathy B., Sally M., Wayne S., and several nieces and nephews.
