Herbert Broughton

1960-2023

Herbert Broughton, 62, of Kenosha passed away on July 10, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha surrounded by his loving family.

Herbert was born on September 4, 1960, in Chicago, IL, the son of Louis and Elsie (Quinlan) Broughton. He was educated in the schools of Chicago. Herbert married Margaret Klepacka on November 23, 1993, in Lake County, IL. He worked at Motorola as a production manager for many years. His hobbies included playing Dungeon and Dragons in his younger years, going to the shooting range, fishing, watching TV, reading, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Broughton of Kenosha; children, Jeffrey (Beth) Keslinke of Gurnee, IL, Brittany (Riley) Beernink of Lombard, IL, Charles Broughton of CA, Cody (Micaela Cain) Broughton of Lake Villa, IL; mother, Elsie Broughton of Kenosha; sister, Jane (Adam) Broughton-Schaefer of Kenosha; also included are his 5 grandchildren. Herbert was preceded in death by his father.

A service will be held at a later date.
