Herbert Lauf

1927-2024

Herbert Lauf, 96, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on February 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Herbert was born on March 5, 1927, in Germany, the son of the late Ludwig and Ottilie (Klass) Lauf. He was educated in the schools of Germany. Herbert married Anna Buchfink on March 24, 1956, in Kenosha. He was employed at Kenosha Parks Department for many years and before that he was employed at American Motors Corporation and Outboard Marine Corporation. Herbert was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his children, Heinz (Darlene) Lauf of Marinette and Sylvia (Michael) Hinz of Kenosha; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Herbert was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, parents, brothers, Leo and Oswald,  and sister, Frieda.

Services were private.
