Horst R. Wisse

1950-2023

Horst Wisse, of Kenosha passed away on January 28, 2023, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House surrounded by his loving children.

Horst was born on November 7, 1950, in Germany, the son of the late Rudolph and Gertrude (Husung) Wisse. He was educated in the schools of Germany and moved to the US in 1985. Horst was employed as the head baker for Oliver's Bakery and Custodian for Unified School District for many years. His hobbies included baking German delicacies, hiking, cheering for the Green Bay Packers with his friends, watching German soccer (Deutscher Fußball Bund) but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family and walking his beloved dog Heidi.

Survivors include his children, Jens (Sarah Cross) Wisse of Kenosha, Lars (Kandace) Wisse of Kenosha, Annika (Christopher) Fitzgerald of McHenry, IL; brothers, Lothar Wisse of Germany, Rudi (Anja) Wisse of Germany; also included are his grandchildren, Lucie, Lundyn, Leia and Aeris. Horst was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Klaus.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
