Johnny Lee Taylor Sr.

1947-2023

Johnny Taylor Sr., 76, of Kenosha passed away on March 23, 2023.

Johnny was born on January 31, 1947 in Arkansas, the son of the late Albert and Lulamae (Fisher) Taylor Sr. He was educated in the schools of Arkansas. Johnny married Sue Ann Weatherwax in 1998 in the city of Racine. He worked in the factory for Andis Company and Clipper Factory for many years. His hobbies included fixing cars, matchbox cars, collecting sports memorabilia, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Weatherwax; children, Florence Elizabeth Taylor, Regina Taylor, Johnny Taylor Jr.; brothers, Odell Fisher, John Fisher, Charles (Clara) Fisher; sister, Dixie Chapman also included are many grandchildren. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Albert Taylor Jr., Robert Taylor, Jimmy Gaston and his sisters, Olivia Taylor, Ruby Kilgore, Rosie Fisher and Patricia Gaston.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
