Jose Gerardo Medina

1965-2021

Jose Medina, 55, of Kenosha passed away on June 18, 2021, at Clairidge House surrounded by his loving family.

Jose was born on October 15, 1965, in Mexico, the son of Alejandro & Ofelia (Martinez) Medina.  He was educated in the schools of Illinois.  Jose was a member of  St. Mark Catholic Church.  Jose was self-employed as a musician for many years.  His hobbies included riding bicycles, cooking, loved making music, playing bass guitar, but most of all he loved spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include his mother, Ofelia Medina of Kenosha; brothers, Guadalupe (Maria) Medina of Waukegan, IL, Alejandro (Rocio) Medina of Kenosha, Martin (Sandra) Medina of Grayslake, IL, Antonio Medina of Kenosha, Miguel Medina of Kenosha; sisters, Victoria Cardenas of Zion, IL, Rosario Ramon of Waukegan, IL, Ofelia (Ramiro) Gonzalez of Waukegan, IL, and Brenda Medina of Kenosha.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Alejandro Medina, sister, Carmen and his 2 brothers, Celso & Fernando.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
