1963-2021

Juan M Candelaria, 58, of Kenosha passed away on December 20, 2021, at Froedtert South Kenosha Hospital from Covid-19.

Juan, who was known by many as Mallito, was born on December 12, 1963, in Waukegan, IL. The son of the late Mario Candelaria and Carmen Celia Tirado . He was educated in the schools of Waukegan . Mallito was employed as a cement truck driver for many years . His hobbies included working on cars, drag racing, playing baseball, and cheering for the Chicago Cubs. Mallito also enjoyed hosting cookouts with his family and friends singing and dancing to great music, but most of all he loved spending time with his beloved 8 grandchildren.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Marisel Candelaria, his children, Juan (Juliana Beatty) Cand e l a ria Jr. of FL, Nydia (Jason Willems) Cand elaria of Zion, IL, Olivia (Rey DeJesus) Candelaria of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Nijel, Bella, Xiomara, Karmelo, Arielle, Sebastian and Violet; his brothers, Añito, Danny, Emilio, Jose; his sisters, Olga, Miossottie, Annie. Juan was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt Aida, his brother, Giovanni, and his grandson, Rey-Rey, and other family members.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Monday January 3, 2022, from 5:00PM-7:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately after at 7:00PM.

Due to COVID, facemasks are required in the funeral home.
