Kerry Books

1961-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kerry Books, 63, of Kenosha on Thursday October 31, 2024, after a long struggle with cancer.

Kerry was born on July 4, 1961, in Racine, WI, he was the son of the late Jan and Mary (Johnson) Books. He attended schools in both Kenosha & Racine. Kerry married Elizabeth Wiginton in Kenosha; they were married for 32 years before her passing. He worked at Pick N Save and worked as a car mechanic at various shops in Kenosha,throughout the years. Kerry's hobbies included a love for dogs, cooking and grilling, collecting guns and working on cars to include models.

He is survived by his siblings: Renee Books of Mt. Pleasant, Valerie Books of Kenosha, and Brian Books of Racine and many other family and friends. Kerry was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, both parents, Jan and Mary Books, and nephew Paul.

Funeral services for Kerry will be private, for close friends & family.
