Kristen Serdar, 51, of Zion, IL passed away on October 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Kristen was born on July 13, 1974, in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of the late Frank and Ann (Kerttu) Serdar. She was educated in the schools of Winthrop Harbor and Zion, IL. Kristen married Kevin Yarbrough. They were married for 31 years. She was a manager/supervisor for CVS Corporate Specialty Services for many years. Her hobbies included shopping, going to estate sales, cheering for the Chicago Bears but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Kayla Yarbrough of Zion, IL, Kyle (Ashley) Yarbrough of N.C., Kiara Yarbrough of Zion, IL, Kaden Yarbrough of Zion, IL; brothers, Dave (Laurie) Serdar of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Jim Serdar of Kenosha, WI; also included are her grandchildren, Nova, Penelope and Naomi. Kristen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kevin.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
