Marika "Mari" Conforti

1961-2025

Marika "Mari" Conforti passed away on Saturday July 26, 2025, with her husband by her side.

Mari was born on May 20, 1961. She married Dr. John Conforti on April 4, 2006.  Mari achieved a high level of competency in many areas of her life, concentrating her talents on bringing joy to others and amplifying the beauty to whatever she touched.  She sang, played & wrote music, coordinated shows and events.  In Dressage horsemanship, she won many events, trained many accomplished riders, was invited to the Spanish Riding School, and achieved the St. George Riding level.  Mari was a talented Barber & Cosmetologist.  She beautified many natural settings as a Landscaper & Construction Artist.  Mari enjoyed Artistic drawing & painting, fishing, camping, and golfing. She was an avid researcher of many subjects.  Mari graduated from the Vogue Beauty Academy and Aveda Cosmetology Schools.  Mari had a special relationship with, and loved all of her pets.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. John Conforti of Kenosha; sister, Eve Szokolai.  She is preceded in death by her father, Alexander Szokolai, and mother, Magdalina (Racz) Szokolai.

Mari's genuineness will truly be remembered and missed by friends and family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 6, 2025, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 12:00 Noon to 1:30PM, with funeral services to follow at 1:30PM.  Burial Green Ridge Cemetery.
