Maryann Burkoth

1932-2026

Maryann Burkoth, 93, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday March 15, 2026, at Froedtert-Pleasant Prairie surrounded by her loving family.

Maryann was born on December 22, 1932, in Chicago, the daughter of the late William & Anastacia (Rohde) Funck.  She was educated in the schools of Chicago.  Maryann married Anthony Burkoth on June 7, 1952, in Chicago.  She was employed for many years as an educational Assistant for KUSD.  She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.  Her hobbies included playing Bingo & scratch off lottery tickets, attending the moose Club, but most of all spending time with family & friends.

Survivors include her children, Sharon (Gary) Reau of AZ, Michael (Jackie) Burkoth of WI, Gary Burkoth of WI, Patti (Randy) Ollanketo of Pleasant Prairie, Karen (Patrick) McDonough of SC, Douglas (Shannon) Burkoth of Kenosha. Brother, Robert Funck of Madison. 9 grandchildren; Jessica, Jared, Jamie, Kurt, Karl, Noah, Caitlin, Sean and Paige. 5 great grandchildren; Korrin, Tyler, Deven, Nina, Warren, and 1 on the way (Lincoln).

Maryann was preceded in death by her husband Anthony, son Thomas, daughter Susan, and brother Bill.

A visitation will be held on Friday March 20, 2026, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 1:00PM-3:00PM, with funeral services to follow at 3:00PM.
