Michael J. Martin

1953-2023

Michael Martin, 69, of Kenosha passed away on July 14, 2023, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

Michael was born on August 19, 1953, in Kenosha, the son of the late Joseph and Patricia (Kreuser) Martin. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Michael was a member of the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he worked as an air traffic controller, he then worked for White Welding, Johns Mansfield, and then Arneson Foundry. Michael was a lifetime member of St. James and St. Mary's church. His hobbies included storytelling, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks and the Milwaukee Brewers but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his grandson.

Survivors include his significant other of 25 years, Bonnie Sloan of Kenosha; daughter, Marisa (Shane) Ryan of Kenosha; step-children, Natasha & Brittany; brothers, Mark (Kathleen) Martin and Timothy Martin both of Kenosha; also included is his grandson, Austin Ryan' step grandchildren, Isaac & Isiah, his Turbo Twins, as he liked to call them.. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Vicky (James Proud).

Memorial services will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday August 1, 2023, starting at 3:00PM.
