Pedro D. Vazquez

1964-2023

Pedro Vazquez, 58, of Kenosha passed away on the 20th of August , 2023 at Froedtert Milwaukee Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Pedro was born on September 8, 1964, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Pedro and Awilda (Marquez) Vazquez. He was educated in the schools of New York and Puerto Rico. Pedro married Migdalia Rivera on December 5, 2005, in Virginia. He was a member of the United States Navy during the years of 1983-1988. He was also a member of the USS Emory S Land AS 39 & USS Independence CV-62. Pedro was self-employed as an accountant for many years. His hobbies included riding his bicycle, playing with Lego cars, wheelchair tennis, enjoyed art, going on adventures but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Migdalia Vazquez of Kenosha; children, Kristina (Chase Jensen) Flores of Winnebago, Daniel (Maria) Gawronski of NJ, Monica (Logan) Dean of VA, Keishla Perez of Kenosha, Shirley (Cesar Sanabria) Rivera of Kenosha, Kidanny Rosa of Kenosha; brother, Juan (Ivelisse) Ortiz of Peru; sisters, Ileana (Chaz) Connell of TX, Idsia Vazquez of Puerto Rico, Laisa (Ray) Vazquez of Puerto Rico; also included are his 16 grandchildren. Pedro was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Friday September 8, 2023, from 5:00PM-7:00PM.

Pedro Vázquez, de 58 años, de Kenosha falleció el 20 de agosto de 2023 en el Hospital Froedtert Milwaukee rodeado de su querida familia.

Pedro nació el 8 de septiembre de 1964 en Brooklyn, Nueva York, hijo del fallecido Pedro y Awilda (Márquez) Vázquez.  Fue educado en las escuelas de Nueva York y Puerto Rico.  Pedro se casó con Migdalia Rivera el 5 de diciembre de 2005 en Virginia.  Fue miembro de la Marina de los Estados Unidos durante los años 1983-1988.  También fue miembro del USS Emory S Land AS 39 y del USS Independence CV-62.  Pedro trabajó por cuenta propia como contador durante muchos años.  Sus pasatiempos incluían andar en bicicleta, jugar con autos Lego, jugar tenis en silla de ruedas, disfrutar del arte, vivir aventuras pero, sobre todo, le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus amigos y familiares, especialmente con sus nietos.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Migdalia Vázquez de Kenosha;  niños, Kristina (Chase Jensen) Flores de Winnebago, Daniel (Maria) Gawronski de Nueva Jersey, Monica (Logan) Decana de VA, Keishla Perez de Kenosha, Shirley (Cesar Sanabria) Rivera de Kenosha, Kidanny Rosa de Kenosha;  hermano, Juan (Ivelisse) Ortiz de Perú;  hermanas, Ileana (Chaz) Connell de TX, Idsia Vázquez de Puerto Rico, Laisa (Ray) Vázquez de Puerto Rico;  también se incluyen sus 16 nietos.  A Pedro le precedieron en la muerte sus padres.

Se llevará a cabo una reunión conmemorativa en Kenosha Funeral Services el viernes 8 de septiembre de 2023, de 5:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m.
