1958-2021

Sterling Howard Jr. (Steve), 63, of Chicago passed away on Wednesday July 21, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Sterling was born on February 19, 1958, in Bloomington, IL to the Sterling Howard Sr. & Pearl (Clark) Rivas.  He owned and operated Sterling Howard Painting, a residential and commercial business, for many years.  His hobbies included fishing, listening to Prince, cooking, cheering for the Cubs & Bears, but most of all spending time with family & friends.

He is survived by his children, Corey Mandley, Nicole (Darius) Rhone, Jeremy Mandley , Jasmine (Trevan) Miles, Tiana (Jesse) Howard, Sterling Dacoda Howard, and Katrina Howard; three grandchildren: Amiah Mandley, Iain Miles and Liam Rhone, one soon-to-be grandson Emmit Hepple; his mother, Pearl Rivas of; sisters, Deborah Dimitriadis, and Jackie Box, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and family; He was  preceded in death by his grandparents Cary and Lela Clark, his father, Sterling Howard Sr, brother, Stuart, and sisters, Wanda & Lela Mae.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 7 ^th from 10:30 -12:30 at:
