Theodore Machnicki

1952-2025

Theodore Machnicki, 72, of Genoa City passed away on March 10, 2025, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Theodore was born on November 18, 1952, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Henry and Dolores (Popiel) Machnicki. He attended DePaul University in Chicago for music and was an accomplished musician.  He played keyboard in bands entertaining audiences all around the Chicago area.  Later in life, Ted was self-employed as a real estate broker. His hobbies included music, cheering for the Chicago Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks & White Sox.  He loved lake life and water sports but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his brothers, Terry Machnicki of AL, Mark (Annette (Torgerson) Machnicki of Twin Lakes, WI; sisters, Tania Machnicki of Genoa City, WI,  Caroline (Greg) Reiter of Washington Island, WI; nieces, Stephanie Reiter, Victoria Reiter; and also his nephew, John Reiter. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Lowell Goldman and sister-in-law Marja Machnicki.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
