Wendy Sulwer

1954-2022

Wendy Sulwer, 67 of Kenosha passed away on February 16, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center Kenosha surrounded by her loving family.

Wendy was born on March 23, 1954, in Wheaton, IL, the daughter of the late Roger and Florence (Dean) Gilchrist. She was educated in the schools of Wheaton, IL. Wendy married Mark Sulwer on May 8, 2000, in Joliet, IL. She was employed at a Law Firm for many years. Wendy was a member of Southport Baptist Church. Her hobbies included knitting, traveling, praying for her family but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Sulwer of Kenosha; children, Luke Fichter of KY, Paul (Alison) Fichter of IL, Matthew Fichter of Kenosha, Heidi Fichter of Kenosha, Aaron (Christine) Sulwer of AZ, Jacob (Sheila) Sulwer of AZ, Simone Sulwer of N.D., Nathan (Michelle) Sulwer of IN; brothers, Terry Gilchrist of FL, David Gilchrist of MO, Ronald (Debbie) Gilchrist of TN; also included are many grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Monday February 21, 2022, from 4:00PM-6:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 6:00PM.

Due to COVID, facemasks are required in the funeral home.
