William L. Lacy

1956-2024

William (Bill) L. Lacy of Kenosha passed away on March 4, 2024, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

Bill was born on November 14, 1956, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late William A. and Dorothy (Burnworth) Lacy. He attended schools in Camp Zama, Japan, El Paso, TX and Lake County, IL, graduating from Zion-Benton Township High School.  Bill married Julie Higgins in August of 1989 in Lake Forest, IL and later divorced. He worked at the Zion Nuclear Power Station as a material handler for many years, as well as being a loving and caring father.  His hobbies included cheering for the Chicago Bears and spending time with his family and friends, especially with his grandson (his best pal).

Survivors include his children, Emily (Tim King) Lacy of Kenosha, Anna (David) Lindahl of Racine; brother, John Lacy of CO; sisters, Debra (Craig) Duba of Antioch, IL, Sharon Lacy of FL; also included is his grandson, Memphis. William was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Patrick and the mother of his children, Julie.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
